Gallery 1313’s Mandate
Gallery 1313 is an artist run centre committed to the recognition of excellence in various cultural and artistic expressions. Gallery 1313’s embracing of equality, inclusion and celebration of diversity is affirmed through its broad representation of its membership, affiliations, programming and executive body. Gallery 1313 supports vital contemporary art practices by recognizing the work of emerging and established artists in a variety of mediums.

The Gallery:

The Gallery 1313 is a incorporated non profit organization with charitable status (PVAC INC ). Currently located at 1313 Queen Street West in the Parkdale Village district of Toronto, Ontario, it opened in 1998 and is home to the Parkdale Village Arts Collective. The Gallery shows contemporary Canadian art and has occasional international exhibits. Submissions are received on an ongoing basis. We feature sculpture, photography, new media, painting and mixed media exhibitions

Charitable Donations:

Persons wishing to make a charitable donation to the gallery should contact gallery personnel. A tax receipt may be given depending on the amount of the contribution. Funds donated will be used for ongoing operations as well as expanded educational programming.
