Call for Submission: Building Art

Gallery 1313 is organizing an exhibition of artwork that uses a variety of media to capture the architecture of Toronto. Works will be on display in Gallery 1313’s Process Gallery during regular Gallery hours: Wednesday to Sunday from 1 – 6pm.

This exhibition gives artists a unique opportunity to explore the influences of local architecture in their artistic practice. It allows the public an opportunity to make a further connection with city architecture by viewing the creative process that has inspired these artists. Artists can use any medium they choose to produce the work that is inspired by local Toronto architecture.

• Recent CV
• Digital images 3-5
• An artist statement
• All contact information

The exhibition will be curated by Phil Anderson.

Gallery 1313 will notify artists of accepted works on May 10th. Artwork can be dropped off during regular gallery hours on Saturday, May 12th and Sunday, May 13th. There is an administrative fee of $35 for every accepted work.
